yes, i'm alive, i swear

Yes, I know I suck because I haven't written in here in forever. Its just been crazy. I had prom (which was amazing), I had AP tests, I graduated, and then this crazy summer began. I swear the only reason I have the time to write this now is I got my wisdom teeth out on Monday and I can't drive and the painkillers have worn off enough to make me coherent, haha. I have a little over two weeks before I leave for college. Holy shit...thats crazy. I got my roommate on Tuesday. Her name's Carey (yeah Carrie, a tad eerie lol) and shes from Atlanta. She's nice, its kind of funny though...I always think of questions to ask after we finished talking. Happens to everyone I guess. Umm lets see...what else happened this summer:

*went to Cape May with the family for a week

*went to Brandon's shorehouse in LBI for a couple days

*work Tuesday and Wednesday nights (ending next week)

*I got new glasses (that I actually wear)

*I bought most of my dorms ttuff

*I turned 18

*I bought all the clothes I'll need for next year

*I've gone to a couple parties

*I'll be going on 2 double dates

*I've tried to hang out with as many people as possible before I have to go

*Erica's my gym buddy (slash co-Randolph's Bakery junkie)

*I actually upgraded my cell phone (you know you all miss the ghettoliciousness that was my phone)

*I got AP credit for Psychology and I got out of the Regents Test (although I think most people did)

and yeah...thats about all I can think of at the moment. I've changed a bit...I think it happens to everyone the summer after high school. I couldn't exactly tell you how I've changed, I just know I have. If that makes sense. This week has been oddly slow. My dad's been watching the Tour de France 24/7 which I don't mind, considering its the only sport he watches. I've been on Vicodin for most of the week to deal with the pain left from having my wisdom teeth wrenched out. Apparently when coming out of anesthesia I tried to talk like the clergyman from The Princess Bride (you know, "Mawidge, mawidge is what bwings us together today.") which unfortunately (for my mom) I have memorized. I miss chewing...its sad, but true. I would kill to be able to eat something other than jello, ice cream, sherbet, water ice, and potato soup. Although I will admit watching several hours of "I Love the 90s" on VH1 has kept me entertained...especially since I remember most of it. You know what I think I'll miss most about college? Having money. Its sad, but true. I'm going to be broke by the end of the year. And then I'm going to have to get a job that involves working more than 8 hours a week for several months so I can have money for the next schoolyear and what little bits of summer I have off. Ooo YAY! Erica's bringing over Boondock Saints, I'm giving her Office Space in return. So I guess I'll end this now. I'll update soonish, I promise.
